[Vwpickups] RE: Vacuum pump and springs

1.I have rebuilt the vacuum pump on my 80' Rabbit and my 80' Truck only to
have them both go out again. I followed the directions in the Bentley Manual
(I thought) but must have done something wrong or there is something I don't
know about causing this to happen. Does anyone have any suggestions as to
how I can solve this problem?

2. I would like to stiffen up the suspension on my Truck. Are there any
recommended springs for the front and can I add a leaf to the springs in the
rear? If I do will this cause problems? John
